I was hired by Levity to thoroughly review their online offering and design a completely new site.

During the research phase I carried out an expert review and facilitated many stakeholder interviews both internal and external. One of the chief aims of the redesign was to add a feeling of modern professionalism that was very much part of the Levity ethos but was being translated to some audiences where they were seen as old-fashioned and low quality.

Outside|Lines produces compelling travel content allowing viewers to pull back the curtain on emerging cultures in US cities and other destinations around the world. The show is an insider’s guide connecting people to places they typically would not find on their own; places only knowledgeable ‘locals’ would frequent.

Outside|Lines channels its focus to the best food, art, music and shopping in each city encouraging people to “travel like a local”.

I was engaged by Outside|Lines to develop a new design and associated templates for the main Outside|Lines site. The Outside|Lines team integrated the templates into the WordPress-based content management system.

Levity Live is bringing a new kind of comedy experience to a city near you!

Levity Live is producing a classy take on a classic idea. Levity Live clubs are focused on fun, great food, great drinks, great atmosphere…and great entertainment.

I helped transfer this vision to Levity Lives’ website. Work has included information architecture, user interface development and visual design.

BigFrame efficiently connects major brands to large audience Influencers on YouTube.

YouTube is investing in Big Frame via Made For Web. Made For Web is a $100M strategic content funding program.

Big Frame will pay talent a fixed salary for producing the content on each channel, in exchange for owning downstream revenue and media brands.

I designed visually compelling site representing the idea of different content producers. Work has included information architecture, user interface development and visual design.

Decibels is a volume (decibel) meter that simulates common SPL meters. This application allows you to take multiple measurements from many different sources, and save them for comparison over time

After receiving the approved technical requirements I went to work developing an original architecture for the app. Because of technical details a few rounds were needed to develop the optimal user experience.

"Make it something you want to touch" was the clients only guidance on the graphical user interface. The first few rounds of design were good but lacked the feel we were trying to achieve. Solution to this problem, addition of a worn wood texture on the record section and buttons. The wood effect added an analog feel and almost more importantly differentiated action hierarchy.

Weightbot by Tapbot is a simple weight tracking app. Enter your weight daily and see your trends get plotted on a beautiful graph. Set weight goals, watch your progress, and view interesting analytical data about your weight changes.

Tapbot new they needed an excellent user interface. After  a few meetings Tapbot liked what we had to say and contracted us to refine existing wireframes and design an gorgeous graphical user interface. 

My mobile architecture refinements and gorgeous interface design are helping Tapbot objectives of creating a signature product to establish their growing app business.
